                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1">Whereas Tho: Hall Esq late Citizen &amp; Freeman of <lb xml:id="l1"/>London died possess'd of a personal estate of <lb xml:id="l2"/>42000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> over &amp; above his debts &amp; legacies &amp; having <lb xml:id="l3"/>by his Will in writeing bearing date the 14<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day <lb xml:id="l4"/>of February made S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Isaac Newton K<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> Hopton <lb xml:id="l5"/>Haynes Esq, the Rev<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Martin Rector of S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> <lb xml:id="l6"/>Mildred Poultry, &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Richard Walter his Exec<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l7"/>utors devising all his personal estate to his said <lb xml:id="l8"/>Executors for 3 years in trust for the Payment of <lb xml:id="l9"/>his debts &amp; Legacies and for improveing the same <lb xml:id="l10"/>for the use of his Son F. Hall to whom they <lb xml:id="l11"/>are to be acomptable at the end of the said 3 <lb xml:id="l12"/>years during which time he left his said son <lb xml:id="l13"/>an Annuity o<del type="over">f</del><add place="over" indicator="no">n</add>ly of 200<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> a year to be paid to <lb xml:id="l14"/>him quarterly by the said Executors with <lb xml:id="l15"/>liberty nevertheless for them the said Executors <lb xml:id="l16"/>with the consent &amp; approbation of his good <lb xml:id="l17"/>Friends Francis Earl of Godolphin, D<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> God<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l18"/>olphin Dean of S<hi rend=" superscript">t</hi> Pauls, &amp; Charles Godolphin <lb xml:id="l19"/>Esq to advance &amp; pay to &amp; for his said son <lb xml:id="l20"/>such other summs of money as they shall <lb xml:id="l21"/>think fit for his benefit &amp; advancement, <lb xml:id="l22"/>&amp; whereas the said F. Hall was the only Child <lb xml:id="l23"/>left by the late Testator at the time of his death, <lb xml:id="l24"/>&amp; became thereby entitled immediately by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l25"/>Custome of the City of London to one third of <lb xml:id="l26"/>his fathers Personal estate notwithstanding <lb xml:id="l27"/>the said Will, part of which third as much of <lb xml:id="l28"/><del type="strikethrough">as</del> amounts to 14000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> the said F. Hall being <pb xml:id="p1v" n="1v"/> now upon a treaty of marriage <add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><del type="over">is</del><add place="over" indicator="no">c</add>ontent should be vested in Trustees as a provision</add> for his wife &amp; children on such intended marriage</add> as by a settle<lb xml:id="l29"/>ment agreed to be drawn up for this purpose <lb xml:id="l30"/>may more fully appear now We the said <lb xml:id="l31"/>F. Earl of Godolphin D<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Henry Godolphin <lb xml:id="l32"/>Dean of S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> Pauls, Charles Godolphin Esq, <lb xml:id="l33"/>S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Isaac Newton K<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> Hopton Haynes Esq, <lb xml:id="l34"/>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Martin Rector of S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> Mildred Poultrey, <lb xml:id="l35"/>&amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Richard Walker having had it under <lb xml:id="l36"/>our deliberation at the desire of the said F. <lb xml:id="l37"/>Hall to consider what may be fit to be <lb xml:id="l38"/>allow'd Further to the said F. Hall for his <lb xml:id="l39"/>better accomodation &amp; Equipment on his <lb xml:id="l40"/>marriage, besides his own third part by the <lb xml:id="l41"/>Custom of London agreed to be settled as afores'd <lb xml:id="l42"/>have thought fit &amp; determin'd pursuant <lb xml:id="l43"/>to the clause in the said Will referring to our <lb xml:id="l44"/>concurring consent &amp; approbation for the benefit <lb xml:id="l45"/>&amp; advancement of the said F. Hall that there <lb xml:id="l46"/>be paid &amp; allow'd to him at present two thousand <lb xml:id="l47"/>pounds more out of the said estate, which with <lb xml:id="l48"/>his own third part of 14000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> makeing up <lb xml:id="l49"/>16000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> We think may be assign'd to him the <lb xml:id="l50"/><choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> F. Hall in Tallies &amp; orders belonging to this <lb xml:id="l51"/>estate on the Land Tax &amp; Malt amounting <lb xml:id="l52"/>to the said sum of 16000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> &amp; that the Executors <lb xml:id="l53"/>will &amp; ought to be indemnified in paying <lb xml:id="l54"/>to the said F. Hall the said sum of 16000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> <pb xml:id="p2r" n="2r"/> on his giveing distinct receipts for the 14000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi>. <lb xml:id="l55"/>&amp; the 2000<hi rend="superscript">l</hi> in due form as the specialty of <lb xml:id="l56"/>the several payments requires and we are <lb xml:id="l57"/>further of opinion that the said F. Hall <lb xml:id="l58"/>should accept of these summs &amp; the proceed <lb xml:id="l59"/>thereof as all he expects out of the estate <lb xml:id="l60"/>for his provision during the residue of the <lb xml:id="l61"/>3 years, &amp; that the residue of the Estate <lb xml:id="l62"/>remain in the Executors management <lb xml:id="l63"/>to be improv'd for answering the intention <lb xml:id="l64"/>of the Testators Will; but with notice <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> F. Hall</add> from <lb xml:id="l65"/>time to time how the account stands.</p>
