I intended to have sent you yethe papers this week but upon reviewing them it came into my mind to write another little scrible to accompany them: yYou may expect 'emthem yethe next week. An ancient Gentleman I met at one of yoryour Assemblies (whose name I cannot recollect,) being thick of hearing desired me to inquire after yethe form of Mr Mace's Otocousticon a Musitian here; but he has not been in town since I came from London, but is somewhere in London about printing a book of Musiue. Yet yethe last week I had opportunity to inquire after it of his son & he tells me the form is this. $\mathrm{A}$ yethe smal end to put into yethe ear $\mathrm{BC}$ yethe length suppose two foot $\mathrm{CD}$ yethe wide end suppose about eight inches over. The tube $\mathrm{BDC}$ tapers all yethe way almost eavenly like a cone only at yethe great orifice $\mathrm{CD}$ widens more, like yethe end of a Trumpet. He has of several sizes. The biggest do yethe best. If you can't reccollect who yethe Gentleman may be I suppose Mr Hill can tell you, for I think Mr Hill was by when yethe Gentleman spake to me, & yethe Gentleman desir'ded me to write to either Mr Hill or you about it.
