                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">It being advertised in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Gazette for such <lb xml:id="l1"/>Persons to bring in Proposalls as are willing <lb xml:id="l2"/>to deliver in fine Malliable Brittish Copper for <lb xml:id="l3"/>Coining Half pence and farthings without men<hi rend="overline">io</hi>ning <lb xml:id="l4"/>what Quantity is wanted in what Quality &amp; in <lb xml:id="l5"/>what time to be deliver'd on all which Circumstances <lb xml:id="l6"/>the price will in a great measure depend.</p>
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">I begg leave to suppose a Quantity, Quality and <lb xml:id="l7"/>time for delivering the same.</p>
                <p rend="indent10" xml:id="par4">I Propose to deliver a hundred T<del type="over">u</del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>nn'<add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add> <lb xml:id="l8"/>of fine Brittish malliable Copper <choice><abbr>ꝑ ann̄</abbr><expan>per annum</expan></choice> for <lb xml:id="l9"/>six, eight or Ten years.</p>
                <p xml:id="par5">The Copper to be milld or flatted to such <lb xml:id="l10"/>exactness as to answer the weight design'd for the <lb xml:id="l11"/>said half pence &amp; farthings at eighteen pence <lb xml:id="l12"/>half penny <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan>per</expan></choice> pound.</p>
                <p xml:id="par6">And to allow for the Cissell or wast <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l13"/>shall be return'd Seventeen pence half penny <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan>per</expan></choice> £</p>
                <p xml:id="par7">It is hum:<hi rend="superscript">bly</hi> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="3"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">Sup</add>posed <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Officers of his <choice><abbr>Maj:<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l14"/>Mint can cutt and Stamp the <choice><abbr>s:<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> half=pence and <lb xml:id="l15"/>farthing in Work=manlike manner for two pence <lb xml:id="l16"/>half=penny <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan>per</expan></choice> £: each pound of Copper being cutt <lb xml:id="l17"/>into two shillings there will remain three <lb xml:id="l18"/>pence <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan/></choice> £: for the Publick <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> amounts to <lb xml:id="l19"/>2800:<hi rend="superscript">£</hi> <choice><abbr>ꝑ ann̄</abbr><expan>per annum</expan></choice> out of <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> deduct for the rebate <lb xml:id="l20"/>of one penny in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> pound for the Cissell return'd <fw type="catch" place="bottomRight">there</fw> <fw type="pag" place="bottomLeft">394</fw> <pb xml:id="p394v" n="394v"/> <supplied reason="omitted" cert="high">there</supplied> will remain 2550:<hi rend="superscript">£</hi> clear to the Publick <choice><abbr>ꝑ ann̄</abbr><expan>per annum</expan></choice>.</p>
                <p xml:id="par8">If the Officer's of his <choice><abbr>Maj:<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint think <lb xml:id="l21"/>two pence half penny <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan>per</expan></choice> £: to little for what they <lb xml:id="l22"/>are to perform I humbly propose to the same <lb xml:id="l23"/>at <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> said price.</p>
                <p xml:id="par9">If Quantity, Quality time or anything <lb xml:id="l24"/> in this proposall is contrary to your <choice><abbr>Lords:<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> inten<hi rend="overline">io</hi>ns <lb xml:id="l25"/>on your <choice><abbr>Lords:<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> signifying your pleasure; I am <lb xml:id="l26"/>ready to give in proposalls consonant thereto.</p>
