This Depon.tDeponent saith that about amonth agoe he apprehended one Elizabeth Lucas upon suspiconsuspicion of receiveing some Silver plate that had been Stoln from the R.t Hon.bleRight Honorable Mr Secretary Harley where upon she was com̄ited to the Poultrey Compter, (where she remaines at present) And that upon Monday or Tuesday last this Depon.tDeponent Examining the said Eliz. Lucas about the plate, She confessed to him, that she used to utter Counterfeit money for other persons, and took out of heher pocket a Counterfeit Sixpence and some time after a Counterfeit halfe Crown out of her Bosom which she pretended she had from one Mrs Bayley, who she said was fled from Justice upon her haveing notice that the said Lucas was committed to the Poultry Compter Will Hagley Capt. jurat coram me anno et die pred J : Stanley
