Who upon her Oath saith that about two months agoe one Thomas Williams did bring she this InformtInformant acquainted with one William Montford a Souldier in CollColonel Holines's Company of Foot Guards, and at the same time the SdSaid Williams gave to her this Informant one counterfeit Shilling, she this InformtInformant giveing yethe SdSaid Thomas Williams Sixpence good mony for the Same, And she further saith upon her Oath that about a fortnight Since She did receive from the hands of the SdSaid William Montford Six Shillings Shillings of counterfeit Money resembling the Currant coyn of this Kingdome, for wchwhich SdSaid 6.s she this Informant gave him yethe SdSaid Montford three shillings of good money, and further she saith that the SdSaid Montfort did tell her this Informant that if she could utter and dispose of them, he could let her have 5.s at a time in Counterfeit Money for 50.d in good money, and did tell this Informant that if she had not good money to purchase Counterfeit money by him, that it would be worth her while to pawn any things she had for money to carry on the trade or words to that Effect. And further saith ytthat the SdSaid Montfort did tell this Informant, that he did counterfeit Foreign CopꝑCopper money when he was in Flanders.
