Who being duly examin'd saith ytthat abotabout a year ago he this ExamtExaminant became acquainted with Richard Elsam who then Lived in blow anchor ally near moor fields by yethe means of one Mr Morgan yethe sdsaid Elsam did solicit this ExamtExaminant to make counterfeit Spanish Pistolls for hims this ExamtExaminant did promise so to do & Elsam gave him give pounds in order to go on wthwith the Design aforesdsaid & in a little time afterwards this ExamtExaminant gave two good Spanish pistoles to yethe sdsaid Richard Elsam, and told him he made them himself and a little afterwards the sdsaid Elsam gave to this Examt.Examinant forty five pounds in order to carry on the design of making counterfeit Spanish pistoles but this ExamtExaminant did not make any and he further saith that the argole and other things that one now produced and wchwhich were this fay found in his house by Mr Rewse and Mr Saker are things wchwhich he designed to make us of in his Trade of Sword cutler
