                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">Hee saith that about 5 or 6 weekes ago m<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Ruby a Chandler <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>t the <lb xml:id="l2"/>Corner of S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>. anns Court in Dean street Soho came to enquire for the <lb xml:id="l3"/><choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> at the Fleet once or oftener as he was told by m<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi> Lawrence <lb xml:id="l4"/>who said she was to be heard of at the Crown in Dean street tho they <lb xml:id="l5"/>there deny the knowledge of her And that since the <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> was <lb xml:id="l6"/>taken up by M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. King the said M<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>. Lawrence came to the <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice>

                    at the said M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> King's <choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> 3 week<choice><orig>'</orig><reg/></choice>s ago and told the <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l7"/><choice><sic>that</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice> if he had been in the way <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">n</hi></abbr><expan>when</expan></choice> M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Ruby came to him <lb xml:id="l8"/>he this <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> might have gone down with them to his <lb xml:id="l9"/>advantage or words to that purpose and that they had some <lb xml:id="l10"/>thousands of things and the <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> asking <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>what</expan></choice> things <lb xml:id="l11"/>She answ<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">rd</hi></orig><reg>ered</reg></choice> such as the <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> had shewed her but bett<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></orig><reg>er</reg></choice> done</p>
