                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">this Elizabeth <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones has gone by many Names a great <lb xml:id="l4"/>cheat and a dangerous Enemy to the <choice><abbr>Governm<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Government</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l5"/>before and after she lived with this Deponents father <lb xml:id="l6"/>as a Concubine here and in Ireland and being <lb xml:id="l7"/>Great Coyners and Clippers this Elizabeth <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones to <lb xml:id="l8"/>carry on the work the better paid a certain <lb xml:id="l9"/>pen<choice><orig>ī</orig><reg>si</reg></choice>on quarterly and yearly unto Gibbons <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l10"/><choice><abbr>messeng<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>messenger</expan></choice> and others to give notice before any <lb xml:id="l11"/>search was made thus that trade <choice><abbr>prosper<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>prospered</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l12"/>and went on Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones allowing the <choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice>

                    part of the proffit but this Elizabeth <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones being an Enemy <lb xml:id="l13"/>to King William got the <choice><sic>Male</sic><corr>Mail</corr></choice> or post stopped and robbed by <lb xml:id="l14"/>highwaymen who brought a box or pacquet of a foot <unclear reason="hand" cert="medium">g</unclear>uard <lb xml:id="l15"/>by estima<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">c</hi></orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on might have 200 letters and this Elizabeth <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones had <lb xml:id="l16"/>this Pacquet in her custody this <choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> then see it with her<choice><orig>–</orig><reg>.</reg></choice> The <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">n</hi></abbr><expan>then</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l17"/>Secretarys of the state finding this pacquet wanting and their <lb xml:id="l18"/>matters not go right in France there was great search for this <lb xml:id="l19"/>pacquet and it was removed to severall places and it had been <lb xml:id="l20"/>found had it not been<choice><sic>f</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice> removed to one Edward <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones's his house <lb xml:id="l21"/>in <choice><abbr>Westm<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Westminster</expan></choice> for Edward Ivie this <choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Deponents</expan></choice> father and this Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones <lb xml:id="l22"/>were in great fear and concerne <choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> this pacquet declaring if it <lb xml:id="l23"/>was found it would ruin the French King's Interest here and <lb xml:id="l24"/>King <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ames besides endangering all their friends at last Elizabeth <lb xml:id="l25"/><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones found means to send it to France M<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>. Hickes can make out <lb xml:id="l26"/>more <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>par</reg></choice>ticularly <choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> this pacquet and mr <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Hickes and if m<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> <lb xml:id="l27"/>Bedford that lives in <choice><sic>shear</sic><corr type="delText">shear</corr></choice><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">shoe</add> Lane by Temple Barr at the sign of <lb xml:id="l28"/>the Robin Hood if he was examined <choice><abbr>ag<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>against</expan></choice> this Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones can give <lb xml:id="l29"/>some <choice><abbr>acco<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>account</expan></choice> but mr Brady can make out the whole and this <lb xml:id="l30"/><choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> believes <del type="cancelled" cert="low">s</del>he can direct what summ of money this Eliz <lb xml:id="l31"/><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones had of <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="7"/> Barkley and Colonell Parker and how + <lb xml:id="l32"/>where it was conveyed and the names of all<choice><orig>–</orig><reg>.</reg></choice> This Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones <lb xml:id="l33"/>together with this <choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Deponents</expan></choice> father Edw<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Ivie and his wife were <lb xml:id="l34"/>brought from I<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">r</hi></orig><reg>re</reg></choice>land to be Witnesses <choice><abbr>ag<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>against</expan></choice> Brady + <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ennens for <lb xml:id="l35"/>coyning and being under outlawry for coyning were <lb xml:id="l36"/><choice><abbr>Committ<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>Committed</expan></choice> to Newgate Edward Ivie and his wife dyed in Newgat<supplied reason="foxed">e</supplied> <lb xml:id="l37"/>and this Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones at the Kings charge has had her <choice><abbr>out<hi rend="overline">lary</hi></abbr><expan>outlawry</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l38"/>reversed and pleaded it at the King's Bench Barr<choice><orig>–</orig><reg>.</reg></choice> She is now <lb xml:id="l39"/>upon another <choice><abbr>acco<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>account</expan></choice> in Newgate she has done the King no service <lb xml:id="l40"/>for reversing her <choice><abbr>out<hi rend="overline">lary</hi></abbr><expan>outlawry</expan></choice></p>
