                <p rend="center" xml:id="par1">The Informa<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">c</hi></orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on of ann Tomkins <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">wife</add> of Samuell Tomkins</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">Who saith that she hapened to be a <choice><abbr>serv<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>servant</expan></choice> to one Eliz Peirce <choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice>  Feb<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>y <lb xml:id="l1"/>1696 who then lived in a house near West Smithfield Barrs London <lb xml:id="l2"/>in which house there then also lived one Thomas Lee a Silver smith <lb xml:id="l3"/>who then and there togeather <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>.</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> the said Eliz Peirce did Coyn <lb xml:id="l4"/>sixpences shillings and half Crownes to the value of Three <lb xml:id="l5"/>hundred poundes in old money and this <choice><abbr>Inform<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> sayth that she <lb xml:id="l6"/>did see the said Elizabeth Peirce and Thomas Lee actually stamp <lb xml:id="l7"/>the half crowns and cast the shillings and sixpences in Flaskes and <lb xml:id="l8"/>that they told this <choice><abbr>Inform<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> afterwards that they had dispensed of <choice><orig/><reg><supplied reason="omitted">the</supplied></reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l9"/>greatest part of the said three hundred pounds in the Exchec<choice><orig></orig><reg>quer</reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l10"/>at Westm<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</orig><reg>inster</reg></choice> which they paid in there in baggs sealed up and that <lb xml:id="l11"/>they had a Friend belonging to the Exchec<choice><orig></orig><reg>quer</reg></choice> that <choice><abbr>reced</abbr><expan>received</expan></choice> the <lb xml:id="l12"/>same without opening the <del type="strikethrough">same</del> baggs or looking whether <lb xml:id="l13"/>it was good or bad money but what <choice><sic>there</sic><corr>their</corr></choice> said Friend's <lb xml:id="l14"/>name was this <choice><abbr>Inform<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> doth not know</p>
