                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="larger"><hi rend="underline"><choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Sir</expan></choice></hi></hi></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par3">The businesse of the Countrey Mints now drawing towards an End, the Lords <lb xml:id="l2"/>of the <choice><abbr>Tr<hi rend="overline">ea</hi>ry</abbr><expan>Treasury</expan></choice> are minded that <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no"><unclear reason="over">Wee</unclear></add> should lay your <choice><abbr>Acc<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Accounts</expan></choice> before them, &amp; for that End <lb xml:id="l3"/>I desire you with the Assistance of the Master &amp; Comptroller or all of you together to <lb xml:id="l4"/>fill up the blank<choice><orig>'</orig><reg/></choice>s in the inclos'd paper <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>.</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> all the care &amp; Exactness you can, &amp; then to <lb xml:id="l5"/>returne it to me, or a faire copy therof sign'd by you all that we may rely upon it.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par4">Where nothing was imported (as perhapps in the branch of wrought Plate betweene <lb xml:id="l6"/>Nov<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. 4: 96 &amp; Iuly: 97 or in that of publique Monie since <hi rend="overline">Mar</hi>, 1<hi rend="superscript">st</hi>.) you are to fill <lb xml:id="l7"/>upp the Blank<choice><orig>'</orig><reg/></choice>s with Cyphers. And soe in the two last Columns, Cyphers are to be putt <lb xml:id="l8"/>where nothing remain'd due to Importers, or nothing was reserv'd for melting, refining <lb xml:id="l9"/>&amp; Coyning.
