For yethe speedy setting to work yethe Mint at Edinburgh after yethe same way as Her Majties.Majesties Mint in yethe Tower. YorYour LordspLordship was pleased to direct that severall Tools Vtensills & other materials thereunto required should be forthwith prrovided & conveyed to yethe sd.said Mint at Edinburgh & yethe same were accordingly provided & sent the account whereof stands as followeth

Lsd For charcoale, Allum, Argol, flat smooth bastard files, Blistered Steel, A Sweep Mill, Quick Silver, brass & Iron sieves, brushes of several sorts & several other Goods bought of sundry ꝑpersons as by theire severall acquittances amots:amounts together to yethe sum̄mme of 133:16:10 For four cutting Engins, two flatting presses, one coyning press, two paire of Rollers & other things bought of yethe Ingineer in yethe Tower as by his Bill of ꝑrticularsparticulars 150:00:00 For several Ballances, Weights, & Counterpoizes &c bought of Mr. Ino. Smart as by his Bill of prarticulars 41:02:06 For Puncheons & Dyes for all yethe species of Money & for small Puncheons & Letters had of yethe Gravers & Smith, in yethe Tower as by theire Bill or ꝑrticularsparticulars 207:14:00 Total 532: 13: 04

Besides these sum̄mms disburs'd by me there is yethe sum̄mme of sixty pounds due to my clerk Mr. Richard Morgan by Her MajtiesMajesties Warrt:Warrant whereby he was sent from here to instruct & assist yethe clerks of yethe said Mint at Edinburgh wch:which service he ꝑperformed duly as appears by yethe certificate of yethe officers of yethe said Mint — There is also due to Dr. David Greggory by Her Majties.Majesties Warrt:Warrant the sum̄mme of two hundred & fifty Pounds for his charges & service in going from here to assist oversee & direct yethe officers of yethe said Mint at Edinburgh according to yethe methods of yethe Mint in yethe Tower and attending in this service for yethe space of three months dated from yethe time of his going from hence besides a month more spent in yethe said service for wch.which your LordspLordship is Impowered by yethe said Warrt:Warrant to make him such further allowance as yor/your LordspLordship shall think reasonable which allowance I humbly propose to be 50£ if yor:your LordspLordship shall think fitt

The payment of all which sum̄mmes I humbly pray your LordspLordship to order or cause to be paid out of yethe proper Fund when I conceive to be yethe Bullion which is appropriated to yethe service of Her Majtis.Majesties Mint at Edinburgh and is at present in yethe hands of Daniel Stewart Collector thereof or yethe Civil List to be reinbursedreimbursed out of that Fund hereafter
