                <p xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">Whereas</hi> we are informed That there are in his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint <lb xml:id="l1"/>in the Tower of London, great Quantities of Gold, and some silver, <lb xml:id="l2"/>which if it should remain uncoined would be to the dissatisfaction <lb xml:id="l3"/>and prejudice of the Importers, and a Discouragement to the Coynage. <lb xml:id="l4"/>And that the making of new Puncheons and Dyes with his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l5"/>Effigies and armes will take up some considerable time, before <lb xml:id="l6"/>they can be finished, We do therefore hereby Authorize and require <lb xml:id="l7"/>you the Master and Worker of his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">said</add> Mint, to proceed in <lb xml:id="l8"/>coining the Gold &amp; Silver Bullion a<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add> shall be brought into <lb xml:id="l9"/>the said Mint, with Dyes made from the Puncheons used in <lb xml:id="l10"/>her late <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Reign; untill new Puncheons &amp; Dyes, with his <lb xml:id="l11"/><choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Effigies and arms shall be made and finished as <lb xml:id="l12"/>aforesaid. And for so doing this shall be your Warrant.
