                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1">After my hearty Commenda<choice><orig>c</orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>ons <hi rend="large">Whereas</hi> in pursuance <lb xml:id="l1"/>of an Address of the Commons of Great Brittain in <lb xml:id="l2"/>Parliament assembled made to her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> on or about the <lb xml:id="l3"/>Fifth day of may 1711 and by her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> warrant issued thereupon <lb xml:id="l4"/>under her Royall sign manual bearing Date the 10<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>: Day of <lb xml:id="l5"/>the same month, severall parcells of Wrought Plate were <lb xml:id="l6"/>received into her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint after the 14<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>. Day of May 1711 at <lb xml:id="l7"/>such Rates and prizes as had been agreed to by the <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice></add> Commons <lb xml:id="l8"/>which Rates and prices for the said plate Exceeded the Monies <lb xml:id="l9"/>produced by the coynage of the same by the sume of <lb xml:id="l10"/>Nineteen hundred and fifteen pounds Eleaven shillings and <lb xml:id="l11"/>six Pence as appears by the Anexed Certificate signed by <lb xml:id="l12"/>the Warden and Comptroller of her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Mint <hi rend="large">And <lb xml:id="l13"/>Whereas</hi> by an Act of this session of Parliament entitled <lb xml:id="l14"/>(an act for charging and Continuing the Duties upon Malt <lb xml:id="l15"/>Mum Cider and Perry for the service of the year 1712 and <lb xml:id="l16"/>for applying part of the Coynage Duties to pay the <lb xml:id="l17"/>Deficiency of the Value of Plate coined and so pay for <lb xml:id="l18"/>the Recoyning the old money in Scotland) It is amongst <lb xml:id="l19"/>other things enacted that the said Deficiency or sum not <lb xml:id="l20"/>exceeding nineteen hundred and fifteen pounds eleven <lb xml:id="l21"/>shillings and six pence be supplyed or made good out <lb xml:id="l22"/>of the moneys which have arisen or shall Arise by <lb xml:id="l23"/>the Duty commonly called the Coynage Duty <lb xml:id="l24"/>These are therefore to authorize and require you, that <lb xml:id="l25"/>out of the monies that are or shall be in your hands <lb xml:id="l26"/>of the Coynage Duty, you apply the said sum of <lb xml:id="l27"/>Nineteen hundred and Fifteen pounds eleaven shillings <lb xml:id="l28"/>and six pence to make good the above mentioned <lb xml:id="l29"/>Deficiency. And for soe doing this together with the <lb xml:id="l30"/>Respective Ticketts given to the severall Importers <lb xml:id="l31"/>and their Acquittances thereupon shall be as well to <lb xml:id="l32"/>you for payment as to the Auditors of her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Imprests <lb xml:id="l33"/>for allowing thereof upon your account a sufficient <lb xml:id="l34"/>Warrant whitehall <choice><abbr>Treary</abbr><expan>Treasury</expan></choice> Chamber 23 of February 1711</p>
