Nov<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. last <lb xml:id="l1"/>we have enquired into <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Case of M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Anthony Redhead late Master <lb xml:id="l2"/>+ Worker of the Mint at Norwich + find it truely stated in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> annexed <lb xml:id="l3"/>paper on <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi>.</abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Reference is endorsed, And whereas M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redhead <lb xml:id="l4"/>in <del type="cancelled">a</del> Discharge of a Debt of 2497<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>: 16<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>: 03<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> owing to M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Leonard Blofield <lb xml:id="l5"/>a <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receiver</expan></choice> of Land Taxes in Norfolk produces three <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> for 2500<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>: paid <lb xml:id="l6"/>out of that Mint to M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Blofields <choice><abbr>Ord<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Order</expan></choice> we find that those <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> are in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l7"/>form of private <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> so that they cannot be allow'd by an <choice><abbr>Aud<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Auditor</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l8"/>in M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redheads <choice><abbr>Acc<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Accompts</expan></choice>. If any thing be due upon <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">m</hi>.</abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> it is to be <lb xml:id="l9"/>recover'd in a Court of Iustice by M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redhead or by him or them <lb xml:id="l10"/>who shall <choice><abbr>answ<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>answer</expan></choice> M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redheads Debt to her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice>, But upon <lb xml:id="l11"/>examining the matter we are humbly of opinion for the reasons <lb xml:id="l12"/>especially reported in another annexed paper that <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> mony paid <lb xml:id="l13"/>upon those Receipts hath been accounted for + endorsed upon <lb xml:id="l14"/><choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> printed Mint Ticketts + that the <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> are thereby voyd + <lb xml:id="l15"/>should have been Cancell'd, + M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redhead himselfe insists <lb xml:id="l16"/>not peremptorily on <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">m</hi>.</abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> but submitts <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><choice><abbr>ym.</abbr><expan>them</expan></choice></add> to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="overline">p</hi>s</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Wisdome<del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del>.</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4">Wee humbly Conceive therefore that for bringing these matters to <lb xml:id="l17"/>an Issue <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>acc<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>accompts</expan></choice> of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Country Mints should be passed <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>.</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice>out regard <lb xml:id="l18"/>to these <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> + M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Neale set in super, and we further lay before <lb xml:id="l19"/><choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lordp<hi rend="overline">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> that M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Redhead at the Conclusion of that Mint was <lb xml:id="l20"/>indebted to M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Chaplyn a <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receiver</expan></choice> of Land Taxes for 2573<hi rend="superscript">oz</hi>. 5<hi rend="superscript">dw<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</hi>. of <lb xml:id="l21"/>Hammer'd Mony at 5<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>. <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> ounce the su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>e of 643: 6: 3 and <lb xml:id="l22"/>that in M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Chaplyn's <choice><abbr>acc<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>account</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi>.</abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> is past + declared + a Quietus <lb xml:id="l23"/>obteyn'd, M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.
