                <p xml:id="par3">In obedience to <choice><abbr>Yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>:</abbr><expan>Your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi>:</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order of Reference of 5<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>: May last We have Considered the Petition of the Widow <lb xml:id="l1"/>of <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Roos Esq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>: late Engraver of His <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Seals setting forth that his Bill for the silver &amp; Engraving work of <lb xml:id="l2"/>Publick Seals amounting to 788: 15: 08<formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mfrac><mn>1</mn><mn>2</mn></mfrac></math></formula> was paid <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:sic>of</tei:sic><tei:corr>off</tei:corr></tei:choice> by order of the <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:abbr>Com<tei:hi rend="superscript">rs</tei:hi>:</tei:abbr><tei:expan>Commissioners</tei:expan></tei:choice> of his <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:abbr>Ma<tei:hi rend="superscript">ts</tei:hi>:</tei:abbr><tei:expan>Majestys</tei:expan></tei:choice> <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:abbr>Tre<tei:hi rend="overline">ary</tei:hi></tei:abbr><tei:expan>Treasury</tei:expan></tei:choice> dated 7<tei:hi xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" rend="superscript">th</tei:hi> August <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l3"/>1717 excepting two Seals for Ireland valued at 236: 18: 10<tei:formula xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mfrac><mn>1</mn><mn>2</mn></mfrac></math></tei:formula> upon a supposition that those two were <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l4"/>to be paid for out of the Treasury of that kingdom And we are humbly of opinion that the said <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l5"/>Graver be paid out of the <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:abbr>Excheq<tei:hi rend="superscript">r</tei:hi>.</tei:abbr><tei:expan>Exchequer</tei:expan></tei:choice> here for the Seals in question For they were Ordered &amp; made here, &amp; <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l6"/>have formerly been paid for here as Appears to us by an Order of the Treasury dated the 6<tei:hi xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" rend="superscript">th</tei:hi> Sept<tei:hi xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" rend="superscript">r</tei:hi>. <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l7"/>1711. and some Seals made since for Ireland have already been Paid for here: And Gravers may <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l8"/>hereafter prove Vnwilling to make Seals here for Ireland if they must be sent thither for <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l9"/>their money.</p>
