                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="large">May it please Your Grace.</hi></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par3">Vpon an Order from my Late Lord Treasurer dated Iuly 27: 1714. that we <lb xml:id="l1"/>should give our opinion upon the Inclosed peti<choice><orig>ī</orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on of severall Traders in the Woollen <lb xml:id="l2"/>Manufactures in and about Taunton, that the Moydors of Portugall may there be <lb xml:id="l3"/><anchor xml:id="n070-01"/><note place="marginLeft" target="#n070-01"><unclear reason="hand">/w:m:</unclear></note>received by the Collectors of the Revenues at 28<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> a <choice><sic>peice</sic><corr>piece</corr></choice>: We humbly represent that <lb xml:id="l4"/>by their Weight and assay they are worth about 27<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>: 7<hi rend="superscript">d</hi><formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mfrac><mn>1</mn><mn>4</mn></mfrac></math></formula> a <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:sic>peice</tei:sic><tei:corr>piece</tei:corr></tei:choice> at a Medium, but are <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l5"/>frequently culled in London and the lighter <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:sic>peices</tei:sic><tei:corr>pieces</tei:corr></tei:choice> sent to other places to be put away <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l6"/>where people will receive them, and those lighter <tei:choice xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><tei:sic>peices</tei:sic><tei:corr>pieces</tei:corr></tei:choice> are scarce worth above 27<tei:hi xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" rend="superscript">s</tei:hi>: 6<tei:hi xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" rend="superscript">d</tei:hi> <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l7"/>one with another, which is the price that the Collectors of the Revenues are willing to <tei:lb xmlns:tei="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:id="l8"/>take them at.</p>
