                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="large">Whereas</hi> upon the Votes &amp; Address of Our <choice><abbr>Com<hi rend="overline">ons</hi></abbr><expan>Commons</expan></choice> in <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l4"/>Assembled, We did by <choice><abbr>Warr<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Warrant</expan></choice> under Our <choice><abbr>Roy<hi rend="superscript">ll</hi></abbr><expan>Royall</expan></choice> Sign Manuall dated <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l5"/>10<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May last Authorize &amp; Comand, the Warden Master &amp; Worker <lb xml:id="l6"/>&amp; Comptroller of Our Mint in Our Tower of London to take &amp; receive <lb xml:id="l7"/>from all <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice>sons &amp; Bodys politick or Corporate all such wrought plate <lb xml:id="l8"/>as they or any of them should bring to Our said Mint of the kinds &amp; standards <lb xml:id="l9"/><choice><abbr>menc<hi rend="overline">on</hi><hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>mentioned</expan></choice> in the said Votes, And to give such <choice><orig>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</orig><reg>Receipts</reg></choice> for the same as <lb xml:id="l10"/>were deliver'd in the said Address of Our Commons, and forthwith to <lb xml:id="l11"/>cause the same to be melted down &amp; assayed, And that you <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Master <lb xml:id="l12"/>&amp; Worker of Our said Mint should imediately Coin <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> same into <lb xml:id="l13"/>shillings &amp; sixpences &amp; pay the Moneys produced into <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Receipt</expan></choice> of <lb xml:id="l14"/>Our <choice><abbr>Excheq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Exchequer</expan></choice> &amp; take Tallys for Your discharge, <hi rend="large">And Whereas</hi> <lb xml:id="l15"/>in the Act of <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> Entituled [An Act for Lycencing &amp; <lb xml:id="l16"/>regulating Hackney Coaches &amp; Chairs, &amp; for Charging certain new <lb xml:id="l17"/>Dutys on Stampt Vellom <choice><abbr>parchm<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>parchment</expan></choice> &amp; paper &amp; on Cards &amp; Dice &amp; on the <lb xml:id="l18"/><choice><abbr>Exportac<hi rend="overline">on</hi></abbr><expan>Exportation</expan></choice> of Rock salt for Ireland and for securing thereby and by <lb xml:id="l19"/>a Weekly <choice><abbr>paym<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>payment</expan></choice> out of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Post Office and by <choice><abbr>Sev<hi rend="superscript">ll</hi></abbr><expan>Severall</expan></choice> Dutys on Hides &amp; <lb xml:id="l20"/>Skinns a Yearly Fond of 186670<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">l</hi></hi>. for 32 years to be Applyed to the <lb xml:id="l21"/>Satisfac<choice><orig>c</orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on of such Orders as are therein <choice><abbr>men<hi rend="overline">con</hi><hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>mentioned</expan></choice> by the Contributors <lb xml:id="l22"/>of any Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice> not Exceeding Two Millions to be rais'd for Carrying on <lb xml:id="l23"/>the Warr and other Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> occasions] It is Enacted That all <lb xml:id="l24"/>and every the <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> given for the plate brought into the said Mint <lb xml:id="l25"/>before <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May 1711 should be accepted &amp; taken as so much <lb xml:id="l26"/>Money for the Fourth part of the <choice><abbr>Contribuc<hi rend="overline">ons</hi></abbr><expan>Contributions</expan></choice> upon the said Act, but <lb xml:id="l27"/>no provision is made for accepting the <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> dated on or after the said 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> <lb xml:id="l28"/>day of May, <hi rend="large">Now</hi> That Our loving Subjects may not want the use both <lb xml:id="l29"/>of the <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> &amp; <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> New Moneys Coined out of their plate Our Will &amp; pleasure <lb xml:id="l30"/>is And We do hereby Authorize &amp; Co<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>and You the said Master &amp; Worker of <lb xml:id="l31"/>Our Mint to pay unto Each of the Importers of Plate whose <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Receipts</expan></choice> are dated <lb xml:id="l32"/>on or after the said 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May at the Rate of 5<hi rend="superscript">sh</hi> <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> Ounce for <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> plate <lb xml:id="l33"/>Imported any thing in Our former <choice><abbr>Warr<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Warrant</expan></choice> to the Contrary in any wise <lb xml:id="l34"/>notwithstanding, But You are to take Care, that an Exact <choice><abbr>Acco<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Account</expan></choice> be kept <lb xml:id="l35"/>of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> difference between the Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>s so paid by You in the pursuance here of, And <lb xml:id="l36"/>the Rates at <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> the said plate was delive'd according to Your said Receipts <lb xml:id="l37"/>and of the Totall Amount thereof. Given at Our Court at Windsor Castle the 30<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of Iuly <lb xml:id="l39"/>1711 In the Tenth Year of Our Reign</p>
