                <p xml:id="par3">M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>: Kidder Assay Master in Ireland having by direction of the Lord <lb xml:id="l2"/>Lieutenant there made an Assay of several new Portugal Gold Coins specified in <lb xml:id="l3"/>his Report which comes inclosed The Lords <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>:</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Tr<hi rend="overline">eary</hi></abbr><expan>Treasury</expan></choice> are pleased <lb xml:id="l4"/>to direct you to cause the weight and Assay of the like Coins to be taken here <lb xml:id="l5"/>and to report the same to their <choice><abbr>Lor<hi rend="overline">dps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> with your Opinion at what value <lb xml:id="l6"/>they may reasonably go in Ireland in case his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> by his Proclamation shall <lb xml:id="l7"/>think fit to make them current in that Kingdom I am &amp;c 23 Sep<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>: 1725</p>
