                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">The Petition of <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ames Clerk and Ioseph Cave <lb xml:id="l3"/>Conjunct Engravers of her Majesties Mint in <lb xml:id="l4"/>Scotland</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3"><hi rend="large">Humbly Sheweth</hi></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4"><hi rend="large">That</hi> your Petitioners att the time of the Recoynag<supplied reason="foxed">e</supplied> <lb xml:id="l5"/>in Scotland did by order of the Master Worker make <lb xml:id="l6"/>One shilling Head and Reverse one six Pence Head &amp; <lb xml:id="l7"/>Reverse and by Virtue of a Warrand from her Majestie <lb xml:id="l8"/>directed to the Generall of the said Mint they have <lb xml:id="l9"/>since made Puncheons and Letters for small Coyne Viz <lb xml:id="l10"/><choice><sic>Fouer</sic><corr>Four</corr></choice> Pence Three Pence Two Pence and One Penny <lb xml:id="l11"/>having onely a sallary of Fiftie Pounds a year as sinkers <lb xml:id="l12"/>and no Allowance as Gravers</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par5"><hi rend="large">That</hi> they have Received no Payment for their <lb xml:id="l13"/>Extraordinary trouble during the great Coynage as <lb xml:id="l14"/>hath been Allowed to the Other Officers.</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par6"><hi rend="large">That</hi> there is owing to them on the above Accounts and <lb xml:id="l15"/>for M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Caves Charges in attendance as <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> schedule A<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>nn</reg></choice>exed <lb xml:id="l16"/>the sum of Two Hundered an Ten Pounds.</p>
