Ioseph Cave conjunct Ingravers of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in Scotland, <lb xml:id="l4"/>craving an Allowance for making Puncheons for the use of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hat <lb xml:id="l5"/>Mint, Wee humbly represent to your Lordship that we have <lb xml:id="l6"/>considered the same, and finding <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hat <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hey are only allowed a Sallary <lb xml:id="l7"/>of 50<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi> per Annum between them for sinking and finishing of Dyes <lb xml:id="l8"/>and have no Allowance for Puncheons, wee are humbly of opinion <lb xml:id="l9"/><del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hey be allowed for <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>heir Work of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>his Kind after the following <lb xml:id="l10"/>Rates Viz<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par4">For the shilling head and Reverse fifteen pounds; for the <lb xml:id="l11"/>six penny Head and Reverse Ten pounds (which were the Rates <lb xml:id="l12"/>allowed to the Gravers of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>he Mint in the Tower for the like Puncheons <lb xml:id="l13"/>made by <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hem for the late recoinage of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>he Monies in Scotland), <lb xml:id="l14"/>also for the four penny head and Reverse Eight pounds; for the <lb xml:id="l15"/><del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hree penny head and Reverse seven pounds; for the Two penny <lb xml:id="l16"/>Head and Reverse six pounds; and for the penny Head and <lb xml:id="l17"/>Reverse four pounds in all Fifty pounds.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par5">As for the Ext<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">ra</add>ordinary trouble of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>he Officers of <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hat <lb xml:id="l18"/>Mint during the recoinage, Wee humbly c<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">i</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add>rtifie to your <choice><abbr>Lords'p</abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l19"/><del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>hat wee have hitherto reported no allowance, and that wee <lb xml:id="l20"/>find that M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.
