In obedience to yoryour LordpsLordships order of Reference signified to us by Mr Lowndes his Letter of IJan 29 upon the annexed proposal of MrRobt Ball merchant for paying three pounds sixteen shillings per Ccwt for 200 Tunns of Tin upon his factors receipt thereof at Leghorn from your Lops we have considered this proposal & humbly represent that SrSir Theodore Ianssen paid 4li 10s per Ccwt to the late LdLord Treasurer for Tin runn into barrs barrelled shipt of & delivered at Leghorn & Genoa at her MajtiesMajesties charge

lisd The price at the Tower is 3.16.00. Charges of melting into barrs barrelling & porters 0.2.0006. Shipping off if carried to the Nore 0.0.05. Freight to Leghorn 0.4.06. Insurance 10 per cent 0.8.00. Total 4.11.05 Something is also to be recconed for imbezzlements of Tin by the seamen if carried in her Majesties ships, wchwhich one voyage with another came to about 2s 6d per Ccwt. And something also for forbearance of payment till the Tin arrived at Leghorn.

All wchwhich being considered, wee are humbly of opinion that by the Proposal above mentioned her Majesty would be a great loser, but submit it to yoryour LordpsLordships great wisdome.
