                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">In obedience to your <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order of Reference of the 23<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> Instant <lb xml:id="l2"/>upon the annexed Memorial of the Commissioners M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Rutherford, <lb xml:id="l3"/>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Brown &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Bruce, in <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> they desire a summ at present in <lb xml:id="l4"/>part of the reward for executing their Commission, &amp; refer the <lb xml:id="l5"/>residue thereof to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> consideration after the business shall be <lb xml:id="l6"/>over: we have considered the same &amp; their bu<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">c</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add>iness being to <lb xml:id="l7"/>receive the old money of Scotland from the Bank &amp; see the <lb xml:id="l8"/>same melted into Ingots &amp; to deliver the Ingots to be coined <lb xml:id="l9"/>&amp; keep an account of the whole &amp; certify the deficiency (all <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l10"/>require attendance &amp; fidelity;) we humbly propose that they may <lb xml:id="l11"/>receive at present, One hundred pounds a piece for themselves <lb xml:id="l12"/>&amp; sixty pounds for their Clerk &amp; servants, in all 360 pounds <lb xml:id="l13"/>to be paid out of the same fund out of <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Allardes is <lb xml:id="l14"/>paid for melting the money into Ingots in their presence.</p>
