                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">May it please your Lordships</p>
                
                <p rend="indent10" xml:id="par4">In Obedience to your Lordships Order of <lb xml:id="l1"/>Reference we have examined the annexed Petition <lb xml:id="l2"/>of the Tellers of the Bank praying a reward for telling all <lb xml:id="l3"/>the new moneys proceeding from the twelve Generall <lb xml:id="l4"/>Remaines at the request of the Officers of the Exchequer; <lb xml:id="l5"/><hi rend="large">A</hi>nd we find by your Lordships warrants to M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Neale that <lb xml:id="l6"/>all the new monyes proceeding from those Remaines were <lb xml:id="l7"/>told at the Mint; and the tale as well as the weight reported <lb xml:id="l8"/>to your Lordships by your Order. We find also that the Tellers <lb xml:id="l9"/>of the Exchequer were at first sent to the Mint to tell the <lb xml:id="l10"/>same; but when the Coynage encreased so that a sufficient <lb xml:id="l11"/>number of Tellers could not be spared from the Exchequer, they <lb xml:id="l12"/>were assisted by the Tellers of the bank. For they sent their <lb xml:id="l13"/>Porter William Dumford from time to time to summon the <lb xml:id="l14"/>Tellers of the Bank to attend at the Mint, as appeares by <lb xml:id="l15"/>the <hi rend="large">A</hi>ffidavit of the said William Dumford hereunto <lb xml:id="l16"/>annexed. We find also by the <choice><sic>shedule</sic><corr>schedule</corr></choice> hereunto annexed, &amp; <lb xml:id="l17"/>long <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes" hand="#un1">since</add> signed by M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Neale and his Deputy M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Fauquier, &amp; by <lb xml:id="l18"/>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Fitch our Weig<add place="supralinear" indicator="yes" hand="#un1">h</add>er and Teller, and M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Turner who <lb xml:id="l19"/>supervised the Tellers and reported the tale, that <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> se<del type="strikethrough">a</del>verall <lb xml:id="l20"/>Tellers of the Bank were imployed the several dayes certified <lb xml:id="l21"/>by the said schedule. And by the <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">annexed</add> Affidavit of the said Tellers <lb xml:id="l22"/>we find that they have not yet received any reward for the <choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l23"/>service. But what reward they were promised, or what <lb xml:id="l24"/>part of those twelve Remaines was carried from the Mint <lb xml:id="l25"/>to other places than the Exchequer we do not find.</p>
