Mr Rotherham represents that his Proposal of making such money as cannot be counterfeited in private Mints, may be tried in ten days by the ordinary Dyes, & blanks of gold or silver, & coining presses, & a certain material to be prepared within that time; & that he is willing to let it be tried before such witnesses as his MatyMajesty shall appoint, upon condition that whenever his MatyMajesty shall think fit that this his PoposallProposall be put in practise for coining the moneys of Gold & Silver moneyss he & his heirs for ever shall be appointed supervisorsinspector of the Gravers Office Dyes for Dyes Puncheons & Edgers wthwith a Salary of a thousand pounds per anannum to be paid in yethe Mint Office as other Salaries are paid.
