    <p xml:id="par3">That the Irish Mint now demanded <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add>y the <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Lucas in his Memorial <lb xml:id="l3"/>as well as some other places now in <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="3"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">his</add> possession were granted to the <lb xml:id="l4"/>Officers of the Mint by several Charters &amp; Indentures under the broad <lb xml:id="l5"/>seal in former <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">R</add>eigns &amp; by two Indentures <del type="strikethrough">in this</del> from his p<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></orig><reg>re</reg></choice>sent <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> as <lb xml:id="l6"/>may appeare by the clause of the Indentures hereunto annexed. And <lb xml:id="l7"/>some of the said places having been got out of the hands of the said Officers <lb xml:id="l8"/>by the Garrison &amp; others in the late civil warrs were by several orders <lb xml:id="l9"/>of Council restored to the Mint in 1662 uopn setting up th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> new way <lb xml:id="l10"/>of coyning by the Mill &amp; Press <del type="strikethrough">&amp; continued in their <gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> &amp;</p>
