    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3"><hi rend="large">I</hi> have according to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order <del type="cancelled">of 1<hi rend="superscript">st</hi> of <gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> prepared Drafts <lb xml:id="l2"/>of Gold &amp; Silver Medalls of the Kings <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> to be distributed <lb xml:id="l3"/>on the day of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Coronation &amp; herewith present the <lb xml:id="l4"/>same to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lordps</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice>. The form of his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> face is taken <lb xml:id="l5"/>from a Medal made in Germany, but medals made there by different <lb xml:id="l6"/>Gravers are not like one another. The designe on the Reverse <lb xml:id="l7"/>relates to his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> accession to the <del type="over">t</del><add place="over" indicator="no">T</add>hrone on account of Re<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l8"/>ligion, <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">&amp; represents him Defender of the faith conteined in the scriptures &amp; <add place="inline" indicator="no"><choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice></add> the Bible is still open to</add> <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">the people</add> &amp; according t<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>he manner of the ancient mendalls of the <lb xml:id="l9"/>Greeks &amp; Romans, <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">it</add> is grave proper simple &amp; free from reflexions <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">&amp; not entirely liable to be reflected upon.</add></p>

            <lb xml:id="l15"/>the Coronation of her late <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice></del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><del type="strikethrough">these were then</del></add> 1<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">2</add>00  Medals of Silver &amp; 200 
        <lb xml:id="l16"/>of Gold were <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">then</add> made by Order of Council &amp; delivered to the <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> 
        <lb xml:id="l17"/>Bradford <del type="strikethrough">then Treasurer of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Houshold &amp; Coferer</del> to be distributed 
        <lb xml:id="l18"/>&amp; that 515 <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">gold medals</add> were made afterwards <del type="strikethrough">for the <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><del type="strikethrough">house of</del></add> Commons</del> by Order
        <lb xml:id="l19"/>of the <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d<add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add></hi></abbr><expan>Lords</expan></choice> <del type="cancelled">Treasurer</del> Commissioners of the Treasury <del type="strikethrough">&amp; for <lb xml:id="l20"/>their Chapplain &amp; Sargeant, &amp; 38 for forreign <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">m</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">M</add>inisters. The</del>
            <add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><del type="strikethrough">them</del> for the House of Commons then sitting, &amp; for 3<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">8</add> more for forreign</add> <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">ministers.</add>
            <lb xml:id="l21"/>A pound weight of <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">fine</add> Gold was cut into <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">20</add>  medals &amp; a 
        <lb xml:id="l22"/>pound weight of <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">fine</add> <del type="over">s</del><add place="over" indicator="no">S</add>ilver into 22 medals. 
        <del type="strikethrough">And the Medalls <lb xml:id="l23"/>were</del> 
        After the form of the Medalls <del type="strikethrough">are</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">is</add> setled it will take 
        <lb xml:id="l24"/>up <del type="strikethrough">a month to</del> about a month to make the Puncheons &amp; 
        <lb xml:id="l25"/><del type="strikethrough">if e<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">ach</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">ith</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">er</add> of the Punche<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>ns should break it woul</del> three or 
        <lb xml:id="l26"/>four days more to make the dyes &amp; coyn the medals <del type="over">&amp;</del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">y</add> the 
        <lb xml:id="l27"/>mill &amp; press. If <del type="strikethrough">they are</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">the impression is</add> to rise high like that of the <del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">th</unclear></del> late Me<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">da</add>ls 
        <lb xml:id="l28"/><add place="lineBeginning" indicator="no">made</add> upon the peace, <del type="strikethrough">it will <gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> they must be coyned in a ring, &amp; it will take a 
        <lb xml:id="l29"/>week  more to coyn 1400 <del type="cancelled">such</del> medalls of this sort, every 200 Medalls 
        <lb xml:id="l30"/>requiring <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">about</add> a day to coyn them in this manner, &amp; the Medalls must be 
        <lb xml:id="l31"/>weightier that there may be substance to make the impression rise high<choice><orig/><reg><supplied reason="omitted">.</supplied></reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l32"/>A pound weight <del type="strikethrough">gol</del> fine gold may be cut into 16 medalls &amp; a pound <lb xml:id="l33"/>weight of <add place="inline" indicator="no">fine</add> Silver into twenty. If either of the Puncheons should break 
        
        <fw type="catch" place="bottomRight">a fortnight</fw><pb xml:id="p330v" n="330v"/>
        
        <supplied reason="omitted">a fortnight</supplied> more much be allowed for repairing the loss.
