    <p xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">That</hi> the half pence &amp; f<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>rthings be made of pure malleable copper <lb xml:id="l1"/>(without any mixture of Brass or Tin) by the Master of the Mint according <lb xml:id="l2"/>to such contract as shall be made between her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> &amp; <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> said Master</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par2">That an Agent or Importer be appointed to pay all charges of copper <lb xml:id="l3"/>&amp; coynage &amp; salaries &amp; incidents &amp; to receive the copper money</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par3">That the bargains for copper be made by the Officers of the Mint &amp; the <lb xml:id="l4"/>copper be paid for by the said Agent according to such bargains signified to <lb xml:id="l5"/>him under the hands of th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> said Officers &amp; <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">n</add>ot other-wise.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par4">That when the copper is coyned the Master deliver t<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">h</add>e new copper <lb xml:id="l6"/>moneys by weight to two Tellers or Clerks <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">to</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">O</add>ne for her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> &amp; one for <lb xml:id="l7"/>the Agent, to tell the same &amp; examin the tale by weight &amp; put up the <lb xml:id="l8"/>moneys in papers 5 or 10<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> in a paper &amp; tye up every one two or four <lb xml:id="l9"/>papers in a parcel <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> packthred &amp; set a <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">kn</add>own seale upon the knot in <lb xml:id="l10"/>order to delivery &amp; certify the tale to the Master. The seale to be kept <lb xml:id="l11"/>by the Queens Teller in a box under the ke<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">y</add>s of both the Tellers. And the <lb xml:id="l12"/>Master upon delivery to be paid for the coynage. And that the Master keep <lb xml:id="l13"/>a bo<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>k of the weight &amp; the Tellers each of them a book of the weight &amp; <lb xml:id="l14"/>tale.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par5">That the <del type="strikethrough">Mast</del> Agent take the Masters receipts of the Copper &amp; the <lb xml:id="l15"/>Copperman's receipts of the Price, &amp; that the Master be discharged by taking <lb xml:id="l16"/>up his receipts for so much copper as he delivers to the Teller<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add>, &amp; in his receipts <lb xml:id="l17"/>of money for c<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>ynage insert the weight &amp; tale of the copper moneys</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par6">That <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Agent in his Accounts stand charged with the receipt of copper money <lb xml:id="l18"/><del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">or</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">&amp;</add> discharge<del type="strikethrough">d of</del> himself by the Receipts of the Copper-man &amp; of the <choice><abbr>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Master</expan></choice> &amp; <choice><abbr>W<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Worker</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l19"/>&amp; by certificates of the <choice><abbr>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Master</expan></choice> &amp; <del type="over">T</del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>wo Teller of the whole coynage in weight &amp; <lb xml:id="l20"/>tale.</p>
