                <p xml:id="par3">Since I attended <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> last I <del type="strikethrough">ord</del> caused a new 
                    <lb xml:id="l2"/>furnace to be built in order to a further trial of what may 
                    <lb xml:id="l3"/>be done by casting of copper into Barrs &amp; coyning copper money 
                    <lb xml:id="l4"/>out of those barrs<del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">,</unclear></del><add place="inline" indicator="no">,</add> <del type="over">b</del><add place="over" indicator="no">B</add>ut in the mean time upon <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">assaying</add> the half pence 
                    <lb xml:id="l5"/>of <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> I shewed <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> a specimen, I found the copper 
                    <lb xml:id="l6"/>coarser then it was by the assay before casting. Whereupon I 
                    <lb xml:id="l7"/>ordered M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Bagley the founder to supply me with such barrs 
                    <lb xml:id="l8"/>as would fully endure the assay: but he has not ye<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add> produced 
                    <lb xml:id="l9"/>any tho it be <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">about</add> three weeks since I gave him the order. Whence I 
                    <lb xml:id="l10"/>suspect that in the specimen of half pence <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> I shewed <choice><abbr><del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">yo</add><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice>

                <p xml:id="par4"><del type="blockStrikethrough">Whether the <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">f</add>ilets be made by casting or hammering <lb xml:id="l13"/>it will be requisite to repair the <del type="cancelled">b<gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> Mill rooms &amp; other rooms 
                    <lb xml:id="l14"/>in the Irish Mint for cutting flatting nealing &amp; scouring the 
                    <lb xml:id="l15"/>money, &amp; the repairs <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add>y the workmens estimate will come to 
                    <lb xml:id="l16"/>about 145<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>. If <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> pleases to let me have an order
