    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">Whereas</hi> upon the Votes &amp; Address of <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> Commons in <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l1"/>assembled, We did by Warrant under our signe manual dated <lb xml:id="l2"/>May 10<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> last past, authorise &amp; command the Warden Master <lb xml:id="l3"/>&amp; Comptroller of our Mint in the Tower of London to take <lb xml:id="l4"/>&amp; receive from all persons &amp; bodies politick or corporate all <lb xml:id="l5"/>such wrought plate as they or any of the<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">m</add> should bring <lb xml:id="l6"/>to our said Mint, of the kinds &amp; standards mentioned in <lb xml:id="l7"/>the said votes, &amp; to give such receipts for the same as <lb xml:id="l8"/>were desired in the said Address of our Commons &amp; forth<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l9"/>with to cause the same to be melted down &amp; assayed, &amp; that <lb xml:id="l10"/>you the Master &amp; Worker of our said Mint should immedi<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l11"/>ately coin the same into shillings &amp; sixpences &amp; pay the <lb xml:id="l12"/>moneys produced into the receipt of <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">Ex</add>chequer &amp; take <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">t</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">T</add>allys <lb xml:id="l13"/>for your dis<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">h</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">c</add>harge; And whereas in the Act of Parliament <lb xml:id="l14"/>for contributing a summ not exceed t<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">oo</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">w</add>o <choice><sic>millin<del type="over">g</del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>ns</sic><corr>millions</corr></choice>, entituled <del type="over">a</del><add place="over" indicator="no">A</add>n <lb xml:id="l15"/>Act for licencing Hackney Coaches &amp;c, it is enacted that all &amp; <lb xml:id="l16"/>every the <choice><orig>Receips</orig><reg>Receipts</reg></choice> given for <add place="inline" indicator="no"><choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice></add>
        plate brought into the said Mint 
        <lb xml:id="l17"/>before the 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May 1711 shall be accepted &amp; taken as 
        <lb xml:id="l18"/>so much money for contributions upon the said Act, but no 
        <lb xml:id="l19"/>provision is made for accepting the Receipts dated on or after 
        <lb xml:id="l20"/>the said 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May: <add place="supralinear interlinear" indicator="no">Now that our loving subjects may not want the use of <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="4"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">both</add> the Receipts &amp; the new moneys <lb xml:id="l21"/>coined out of their plate</add> Our will &amp; pleasure is &amp; we 
        <lb xml:id="l22"/>do hereby authorize &amp; command you the said Master &amp; 
        <lb xml:id="l23"/>Worker of our Mint <del type="strikethrough">to pay unto</del> forthwith to pay <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">u</add>nto 
        <lb xml:id="l24"/>each of <del type="strikethrough">our loving subjects whose Receipts of Plate</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">the Importers <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">of</add> Plate whose Receipts</add> are 
        <lb xml:id="l25"/>dated <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">on</add> or after the said 15<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> day of May, <del type="strikethrough">out of the <lb xml:id="l26"/>new moneys arising from their said plate, the summ</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">after the rate</add> of 
        <lb xml:id="l27"/>five shillings per ounce <del type="strikethrough">Troy</del> of <del type="strikethrough">the</del> plate <del type="strikethrough">received &amp; <lb xml:id="l28"/>three pence per penny weight</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">imported</add>; any thing in our former 
        <lb xml:id="l29"/>Warrant to the contrary in any wise notwithstanding.
