    <p xml:id="par2">The Officers of the Mint or <del type="strikethrough">any</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">some</add> of them to <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">re</add>ceive &amp; lock up <lb xml:id="l1"/>the Plate imported &amp; give Receipts of the gross weight in this or some <lb xml:id="l2"/>such form.</p>

    <p xml:id="par4">Received then by A. B. of G. H. <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="10"/> ounces <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="6"/> penny <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>weights</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l3"/>of old Plate <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> at 5<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> 5<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> per ounce amounts unto the summ of <lb xml:id="l4"/><space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="21"/> to be allowed in her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Receipt of Ex<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l5"/>chequer pursuant to an Act of Parliament entituled An Act &amp;c</p>

    <p xml:id="par6">The said Officers to deliver out the Plate in parcels by weight <lb xml:id="l6"/>to the melting pot, <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">s</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>o see that nothing else b<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> put into the Po<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>, &amp; <lb xml:id="l7"/>to take back the Ingots produced &amp; deliver them to the Master &amp; <lb xml:id="l8"/>Worker by weight &amp; assay t<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add> be coined, &amp; the Melter to make <lb xml:id="l9"/>up the deficiency of the gross weight by supplies of standard <lb xml:id="l10"/>silver, the Queen allowing him the sweep &amp; <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="6"/> per pound <lb xml:id="l11"/>weight Troy for his wast &amp; charges of melting to be paid by the <lb xml:id="l12"/>Master out of the new moneys <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> shall be coined out of this <lb xml:id="l13"/>supply.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par7">Th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> Master to give receipts of the said Ingots by weight <lb xml:id="l14"/>&amp; assay &amp; pay the produce <del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">by</unclear></del> in new moneys by weight &amp; tale <lb xml:id="l15"/>to her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> or <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order, &amp; take Receipts thereof <lb xml:id="l16"/>And all the Receipts to be cut out of books from Duplicates &amp; <lb xml:id="l17"/>the Duplicates to be countersigned by the parties to whome t<supplied reason="faded">he</supplied> <lb xml:id="l18"/>Receipts are given. And all the deliveries to be also entered by <lb xml:id="l19"/>the Clerks of the Mint in books <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">w</add><choice><abbr><hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>hich</expan></choice> they shall keep for that <lb xml:id="l20"/>purpose. And when this coinage is over the whole Account to <lb xml:id="l21"/>be poured upon Oath in the next annual Accounts of the <lb xml:id="l22"/>Warden &amp; Master by the Receipts &amp; Duplicates &amp; <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add>y a Controll<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l23"/>ment Roll.
