    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1"><hi rend="larger">T</hi><hi rend="large">o</hi> all to whom these present shall come The Right <choice><abbr>Hono<hi rend="superscript">ble</hi>:</abbr><expan>Honourable</expan></choice> the Lords <lb xml:id="l1"/><choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>:</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> of his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Treasury Send Greeting Whereas by the <lb xml:id="l2"/>Indenture under the Great Seal of Great Britain Granting to <lb xml:id="l3"/>William Wood of Wolverhampton the County of Stafford <choice><abbr>Esq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>:</abbr><expan>Esquire</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l4"/>his Executors Administration and Assi<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">gn</add>s the Sole power and <lb xml:id="l5"/>Authority of Coyning Copper Farthings and half pence for <lb xml:id="l6"/>the Service of Ireland for the Terme and in the manner therein <lb xml:id="l7"/>men<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">co</hi></orig><reg>tio</reg></choice>ned It is (amongst diverse other matters and things) <lb xml:id="l8"/>provided that the said Farthings and half pence shall be Coyned <lb xml:id="l9"/>at some Publique and Convenient Office within his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> City of <lb xml:id="l10"/>London on the <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add>uburbs of the same or such other place as shall be <lb xml:id="l11"/>approved of by the <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>:</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> of his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Treasury or high Treasurer <lb xml:id="l12"/>for the time being Now know yee that wee at the humble peti<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">con</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l13"/>and request of the said William Wood Do hereby approve and <lb xml:id="l14"/>allow that the said Coynage be made and Carryed on at his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l15"/>City of Bristol in some Publique and Convenient Office to be <lb xml:id="l16"/>provided there at the charge of the said William Wood his <choice><abbr>Exec<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>.</abbr><expan>Executors</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l17"/>Administrators and Assigns taking care taht such Office of Place <lb xml:id="l18"/>be satisfyed in the London Gazette and by a Writeing to be openly <lb xml:id="l19"/>Fixed upon the Royall Exchange in London before any such <lb xml:id="l20"/>Coyning be made therein according to the proviso in the said <lb xml:id="l21"/>Indenture in that behalf And the said William Wood is hereby <lb xml:id="l22"/>required to cause this Our Approba<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">con</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice> to be forthwith Enter'd <lb xml:id="l23"/>before the kings Clark and Comptroller of the said Coynage <lb type="intentional" xml:id="l24"/>Dated at the Treasury Chambers at Whitehall the 23 day of <lb xml:id="l25"/>August 1722</p>
