        <lb xml:id="l2"/>the annexed Memorials of <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>he General &amp; Master of his <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice></add> Mint
        <lb xml:id="l3"/>at Edinburgh, <del type="strikethrough">dated 3<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Aug &amp; 12 Sept. 1723,</del> I humbly represent 
        <lb xml:id="l4"/>that by the Coynage Act <del type="cancelled">of</del> <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> passed last Sessions of Parliament 
        <lb xml:id="l5"/>his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Signe Manual <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">directed to the General &amp;</add> dated 17 Novem. 1718 is <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">become</add> voyd. And a new 
        <lb xml:id="l6"/>one may be procured <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">to the Master <del type="strikethrough"><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Montgomerie Es</del></add> for putting in force the Indenture made between 
        <lb xml:id="l7"/>the late Queen Ann &amp; <del type="strikethrough"><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Montgomerie Es</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">the said Master</add> untill a new Inden<lb xml:id="l8"/>ture shall be made. And that the summ of two thousand &amp; one 
        <lb xml:id="l9"/>hundred pounds <del type="strikethrough">may</del> be imprest <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">upon account</add> to the said <del type="strikethrough"><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Montgomerie Es</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Master</add> 
        <lb xml:id="l10"/>for the use &amp; service of that Mint <del type="strikethrough">&amp; upon account</del> as is desired 
        <lb xml:id="l11"/><choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> summ together <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> the moneys formerly imprest I conceive 
        <lb xml:id="l12"/>sufficient for defraying all the charges of that Mint till Lady <choice><orig/><reg><supplied reason="omitted">day</supplied></reg></choice>
        <lb xml:id="l13"/>last, &amp; <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">also</add> for keeping f<del type="over">our</del><add place="over" indicator="no">ive</add> or <del type="strikethrough">five</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">six</add> hundred pounds in his hands <del type="strikethrough">or <lb xml:id="l14"/>above</del> for defraying the charge<add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add> of coynage till more moneys
