    <p xml:id="par2"><hi rend="larger">I</hi><hi rend="large">t being represented to us by severall</hi> of our <lb xml:id="l1"/>merchants and trading people That it would be of im<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l2"/>portance to them And to this wholl country of North <lb xml:id="l3"/><choice><orig>b</orig><reg>B</reg></choice>rittain That some small species of money such as <lb xml:id="l4"/>two pence, three pence and four pence were coined <lb xml:id="l5"/>to be circulat through this part of the kingdome <lb xml:id="l6"/>as was formerly in use befor the union</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">We thought it duty to applye to your <choice><abbr>H<hi rend="overline">o</hi>n<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Honour</expan></choice> for <lb xml:id="l7"/>procuring ane allo<choice><orig>u</orig><reg>w</reg></choice>ance to the Generall and other <lb xml:id="l8"/>officers of the mint at Edinburgh to coine the for<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l9"/>said species to the value of Eight thousand pounds <lb xml:id="l10"/>and not exceeding the same out of what coinage <lb xml:id="l11"/>yet remains to be coined in this part of Great <lb xml:id="l12"/><choice><orig>b</orig><reg>B</reg></choice>rittain</p>
