                <p xml:id="par7">And that a Pile of standard Troy <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>weights</expan></choice> be made by the Deputy Chamberlains <lb xml:id="l3"/>of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Excheq<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></orig><reg>uer</reg></choice> for the Treasury <del type="cancelled">of</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">in</add> Scotland, &amp; two other piles by the Warden <lb xml:id="l4"/>of the Mint <del type="cancelled">&amp;</del> <del type="strikethrough">to be delivered to the General of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Mint in Scotland or i nhis <lb xml:id="l5"/>abs as the Indenture of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Mint directs, or in his absence, to the General of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Mint <lb xml:id="l6"/>your Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi> Order to</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Tower</add> in the presence of the other Officers, <del type="over">s<gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">in</add> such manner that the <lb xml:id="l7"/>smaller weights keep proportion with the greater as <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Indenture of the Mint directs &amp; <lb xml:id="l8"/>that <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">all</add> the<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">se</add> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">piles</add> be printed like the weighted sent to the Corporations &amp; one of the two <lb xml:id="l9"/>Piles delivered to your <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="3"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">for</add> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">th</add>e <del type="strikethrough"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">said</unclear></del> Mint in Scotland.</p>

                <p xml:id="par9"><choice><orig><hi rend="small">And we are further of opinion that untill an Indenture can be drawn up</hi></orig><reg>And we are further of opinion that untill an Indenture can be drawn up</reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l10"/>between her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> of th<del type="over">e</del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">t</add> Mint <del type="strikethrough">at Edinbur</del> prescribing the duty of <lb xml:id="l11"/>every Officer in particular <del type="strikethrough">her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> may please to issue out her Warrant to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l12"/>General &amp; Officers of that Mint <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> a copy</del> the coynage may be there set on <lb xml:id="l13"/>foot by her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Warrant <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">directed</add> to the General &amp; other Officer, <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> a copy of <lb xml:id="l14"/>the present Indenture of th<del type="over">e</del><add place="over" indicator="no">i</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add> Mint annexed to it, authorising &amp; requiring <lb xml:id="l15"/>them to act under the R<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">u</add>les – – – – of the Dyes &amp; Puncheons untill the worn <lb xml:id="l16"/>Dyes be defaced in their presence.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par10">And another Warrant may be directed to the Master of that Mint <del type="strikethrough">authorising</del> <lb xml:id="l17"/>requiring him to coyn one tenth part of the silver into <del type="strikethrough">shillings</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">sixpences</add> &amp; four tenths <lb xml:id="l18"/>into <del type="strikethrough">sixpences</del> shillings, &amp; authorizing him to command the Graver to make <del type="strikethrough">Dyes</del> <lb xml:id="l19"/>Puncheons &amp; Dyes for – – – – distinguished.</p>
