<p xml:id="par3">The things directed <add place="inline" indicator="no">b</add>y<choice><sic><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></sic><corr type="delText"/></choice> <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> to be provided by us for <lb xml:id="l2"/>her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint in Scotland are put on board to be sent thither, <lb xml:id="l3"/>excepting the weights &amp; scales <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> are already made, but the weights <lb xml:id="l4"/>are not yet sized for want of authority to make &amp; mark the <lb xml:id="l5"/>standard weights.</p>
    
<p xml:id="par4">We therefore humbly desire her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Order may be directed <lb xml:id="l6"/>to the Warden of this Mint to make two exact Piles of Standard <lb xml:id="l7"/>weights &amp; to examin &amp; mark them with the new mark before the <lb xml:id="l8"/>Officers of this Mint &amp; to deliver one of the Piles to the General of <lb xml:id="l9"/>the Mint of Scotland by Bill indented according to the directions of <lb xml:id="l10"/>the Indenture of this Mint.</p>
    
<p xml:id="par5">And we further lay before your <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> that for setting on foot <lb xml:id="l11"/>the coynage in Scotland it will be <del type="strikethrough">necessary</del> convenient that <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l12"/>Lord Chancellour of great Britain do summon a jury of Goldsmiths <lb xml:id="l13"/>to make six new indented Trial pieces of crown gold &amp; as many of <lb xml:id="l14"/>standard silver to be delivered as has been usual: two of <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> are to <lb xml:id="l15"/>be sent into Scotland as we mentioned to your Lordship in a former memo<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l16"/>rial. <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="1"/></p>
