    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="larger">W</hi><hi rend="large">hereas</hi> an Act of Parliament was made and Passed in the seventh <lb xml:id="l1"/>Year of Our Reign Entituled an Act for raysing a Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice> not exceeding 500<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice>000<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi> <lb xml:id="l2"/>by charging Annuities at the rate of five pounds <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> Cent <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> <choice><abbr>A<hi rend="overline">nn</hi></abbr><expan>Annum</expan></choice> upon the Civil List <lb xml:id="l3"/>Revenues till redeemed by the Crown, And for Enabling his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> his heirs <lb xml:id="l4"/>or successor (by causing such a Deduction to be made as therein is men<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">con</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice>ed) <lb xml:id="l5"/>to make good to the Civil List the payments shich shall have been made <lb xml:id="l6"/>upon the said Annuities And for borrowing Money upon certain Lottery <lb xml:id="l7"/>Ticketts And for Discharging the Corpor<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">ac</hi></orig><reg>ati</reg></choice>ons for assurances of part of the <lb xml:id="l8"/>Money which they were Obliged to pay to his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> And for making good a <lb xml:id="l9"/>Deficiency to the East India Company And to the End We Our heirs and <lb xml:id="l10"/>successors might be Enabled to reimburse Our selves such su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice> &amp; su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>s of <lb xml:id="l11"/>Money as in pursuance of the said Act shall have been issued or furnished <lb xml:id="l12"/>Out of Our Civil List Revenues during Our Life or out of the hereditary <lb xml:id="l13"/>Revenues therein men<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">con</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice>ed  after Our Demise for or towards <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>paym<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>:</abbr><expan>payment</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l14"/>of the Annuitys to be purchased or Obtained thereupon Or for or towards <lb xml:id="l15"/>the redem<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">p</hi>c</orig><reg>pti</reg></choice>on of the same <hi rend="large">It</hi> is thereby Enacted That is should and <lb xml:id="l16"/>might be lawfull to and for Vs Our heirs &amp; successors by any Warrant <lb xml:id="l17"/>Vnder the Great Seal, Privy Seal, or Royal Sign Manual, to cause a <lb xml:id="l18"/>Deduction to be made not exceeding six pence in the pound Out of all <lb xml:id="l19"/>Moneys which from and after the first day of August 1721  shall be paid <lb xml:id="l20"/>for or upon all pen<choice><orig>c<hi rend="overline">on</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice>s and Annuities charged upon any of the <choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> hereditary <lb xml:id="l21"/>or temporary Duties and for and upon all sallarys Fees and Wages payable <lb xml:id="l22"/>for or in respect of Officers of profit Granted by or Derived from the <lb xml:id="l23"/>Crown And for and upon all other Payments from the Crown <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>:</abbr><expan>what</expan></choice>soever <lb xml:id="l24"/>or for or upon any Arrearages of them or any of them incurred or to be <lb xml:id="l25"/>incurred (Except as therein is Excepted) The same Deductions of Our or their <lb xml:id="l26"/>Civil Government so long as the said Annuities shall be Vertue of that <lb xml:id="l27"/>Act be payable out of the Revenues Charged therewith and untill the <lb xml:id="l28"/>same Annuitys shall be redeemed pursuant to the same As by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> same Act <lb xml:id="l29"/>rela<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">c</hi></orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on being thereunto had may more fully appear <hi rend="large">Our Will and <lb xml:id="l30"/>pleasure</hi> Now is And Wee by this Warrant under Our Royal Sign <lb xml:id="l31"/>Manual Direct Authorize and Command That a Deduction be made <lb xml:id="l32"/>after the rate of six pence in the pound Out of all Moneys which from <lb xml:id="l33"/>and after the said first Day of August 1721 shall be paid at the Receipt of <lb xml:id="l34"/>Our Exchequer</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">To the Cofferer of Our houshold for <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> time being for the service of Our houshold</p>

    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par5">To the Master of Our Great Wardrobe for the time being for Our Expence &amp; Service in <lb xml:id="l35"/>that Office.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par6">To the Master of Our Robes for time being for Sallaries or Allowances or other <lb xml:id="l36"/>Vses and Services in the Office of Our Robes.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par7">To the <choice><abbr>paym<hi rend="overline">a<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></hi></abbr><expan>paymaster</expan></choice> of Our Works for the time being for the Vse and Serice of Our <lb xml:id="l37"/>Works or for keeping and Maintaining Our Royal Gardens &amp; Planta<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">co</hi></orig><reg>tio</reg></choice>ns or for <lb xml:id="l38"/>repairing Our private Roads or any other Services Payable in the Office of <lb xml:id="l39"/><choice><abbr>payma<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">r</hi></hi></abbr><expan>paymaster</expan></choice> of Our Works.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par8">To the <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> or <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>.</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> for the time being for executing the Office of Master of <unclear reason="copy">Our</unclear> <lb xml:id="l40"/>horse or such other person or persons as shall be appointed to receive the <lb xml:id="l41"/>Money for <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Extra<hi rend="superscript">ry</hi>.</abbr><expan>Extraordinary</expan></choice> Expence of Our Stables or keeping Our Studs.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par9">To Our Ambassadours, Plenepotentiarys, Envoys, Residents, <unclear reason="hand" cert="medium">Conouls</unclear>, or other Ministers <lb xml:id="l42"/>or Secretarys by Vs employed or to be employed in Our Service abroad for <lb xml:id="l43"/>their Ordinary Entertainments or <choice><abbr>Extra<hi rend="superscript">ry</hi>.</abbr><expan>Extraordinary</expan></choice> Allowances.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par10">To Walter Chetwynde Es<hi rend="overline">q</hi> or any other person or persons who for the time being <lb xml:id="l44"/>shall receive any Money for payment of pen<choice><orig>co<hi rend="overline">n</hi>s</orig><reg>tions</reg></choice> or Bountys given by Vs <lb xml:id="l45"/>(including the French protestants)</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par11">To the Paymaster of Our Band of Pen<choice><orig>co<hi rend="overline">n</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice>ers for the time being for payment of <lb xml:id="l46"/>the Wages and Board Wages of the Officers &amp; Gentlemen of that Band</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par12">To such person or persons as do or shall receive the Moneys allowable by Vs for <lb xml:id="l47"/>the Maintenance or Family of Our Grand Children or any of them</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par13">To any person or persons for the Vse and Service of Our privy purse</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par14">To any person or persons for Our Secret Services.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par15">To Our Goldsmith for the time being for Plate Workmanship or other services <lb xml:id="l48"/>in Our Iewell Office.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par16">To any person or persons whatsoever for sallarys Fees or other allowances payable <lb xml:id="l49"/>at the Receipt of Our Exchequer.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par17">To any person or persons who shall receive Our Money at the said Receipt <lb xml:id="l50"/>for any Contingent or other Causes whatsoever or for Arrearages of the said <lb xml:id="l51"/>payments or any of them</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par18">Other than and Except the Annuitys or Yearly Bonds payable at the said <unclear reason="copy" cert="low"><choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Receipt</expan></choice></unclear> <lb xml:id="l52"/>of Exchequer to any Corpor<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">ac</hi></orig><reg>acti</reg></choice>on or other persons being Exempted from <gap reason="damage" unit="words" extent="1"/> <lb xml:id="l53"/>or Imposi<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">c</hi></orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>ons by any Act or Acts or Parliament in that behalfe.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par19">And other then and Except such Moneys as are to be issued at the said <unclear reason="copy" cert="low"><choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Receipt</expan></choice></unclear> or <lb xml:id="l54"/>repayment of Loanes or for Interest thereof</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par20">And other than and Except all otehr Payments to be made at the said <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipt</expan></choice> which <lb xml:id="l55"/>by any Act or Acts of <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> are or shall be Exempted from payment of <lb xml:id="l56"/>any Taxes or Impos<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">ic</hi></orig><reg>iti</reg></choice>ons</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par21">And other than and except all such Moneys as shall be issued at the said <choice><abbr>Rec<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Receipt</expan></choice> by <unclear>way</unclear> <lb xml:id="l57"/>of Imprest or upon <choice><abbr>Acco<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Account</expan></choice> for the service of Our Navy or the Victualling thereof <lb xml:id="l58"/>or for Land &amp; Sea Service in Our Office of Ordnance of for the pay of Our Guard <lb xml:id="l59"/>Guarisons &amp; Land Forces or the Contingent charges thereto belonging</p>

    <p xml:id="par22">And other than &amp; Except the Annuity or Yearly Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice> of 20<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice>000<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi> part of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Annuitys <lb xml:id="l60"/>or Yearly Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>s payable at the said Receipt to Our Right Welbeloved Son <lb xml:id="l61"/>the Prince of Wales or his Trustees during the joint Lives of Our Self and <lb xml:id="l62"/>the said Prince, And other than and except such part of the Annuitys or <lb xml:id="l63"/>Yearly Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>s amounting to 50,000<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi> granted to Our Dearly beloved Daughter <lb xml:id="l64"/>the Princess of Wales or to any person or person in trust for her to <lb xml:id="l65"/>Commence and take Effect imediatly after the Decease of Our said Son the <lb xml:id="l66"/>Prince of Wales.</p>
