    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1">Whereas by certain clauses in an Act of Parliament <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">m</add>ade in the sixt year of <lb xml:id="l1"/>his Majesties reign intituled An Act to prevent the Counterfeiting <del type="cancelled">the</del> and Clipping <lb xml:id="l2"/>the coin of this kingd<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">om</add>e it is enacted that no molten silver <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">m</add>ay be transported <lb xml:id="l3"/>unless the same be first marked or stamped at Goldsmith's Hall &amp; there proved <lb xml:id="l4"/>and certified to be forreign silver and by another Act made in the seventh year <lb xml:id="l5"/>of his Majesties reign intituled An Act to encourage the bringing Plate into the <lb xml:id="l6"/>Mint to be coyned and for the further remedying the ill state of the coyn of <lb xml:id="l7"/>th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> Kingdome it is enacted that no Bullion be shipped for exportation without <lb xml:id="l8"/>certificate from the Court of the Lord Maior &amp; Aldermen of the city of London <lb xml:id="l9"/>that the same hath been proved upon oath made before them to be forreign 
        <lb xml:id="l10"/>Bullion and certain penalties are laid upon such persons as shall export or <lb xml:id="l11"/>ship any other Bullion then foreign, and notwithstanding these <del type="strikethrough">and other</del> laws <lb xml:id="l12"/><del type="strikethrough">for preserving the coyn</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><del type="strikethrough">of this kingdom</del></add> great complaints are <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">still</add> made concerning the melting down of <lb xml:id="l13"/>the coyn in private for exportation, and Merchants who import <del type="strikethrough">Bullion</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">silver</add> from <lb xml:id="l14"/>abroad are at greater charge and trouble then i<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add> necessary in carrying the same from <lb xml:id="l15"/>place to place in order to get the silver melted <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">in private shops</add> (if it be not yet in the Ingot) &amp; the <lb xml:id="l16"/>Ingots marked &amp; certified for exportation <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">at Goldsmiths Hall &amp; Yeild Hall</add>; Be it enacted by the Kings most excellent <lb xml:id="l17"/>Majesty by and with the advice <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>nd consent of the Lords spiritual and temporal and <lb xml:id="l18"/>of the Commons in this present Parliament assembled &amp; by the authority of the <lb xml:id="l19"/>same that <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">from and after the <choice><orig>f<hi rend="underline">irs</hi>t</orig><reg>first</reg></choice> day of I<choice><orig><hi rend="underline">un</hi></orig><reg>un</reg></choice>e <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> shall be in the year of <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> Lord one thousand seven hundred <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">and two</add></add> all <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">&amp; every</add> the aforesaid clauses of the two Acts of Parli<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>ment above mentioned <lb xml:id="l20"/>which relate to the marking certifying &amp; exporting of forreign Bullion and punishing <lb xml:id="l21"/>Offenders who export other Bullion then forreign be repealed <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">and made voyd</add> and they are hereby re<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l22"/>pealed <del type="strikethrough">and made voyd</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">accordingly</add> And it be further enacted by the authority aforesaid that from <lb xml:id="l23"/>and after the said <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">f</add><choice><orig><hi rend="underline">irst</hi></orig><reg>irst</reg></choice> day of Iune <del type="strikethrough">aforesaid</del> all molten silver or Bullion and all unmanufac<add place="infralinear" indicator="no">tured</add>
