    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">— And that a new Graver, Probationer or Apprentice be <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">hereafter</add> taken into <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> third <lb xml:id="l1"/>place <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> a competent salary <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">&amp;</add> <del type="strikethrough"><unclear reason="del">soon</unclear></del> be allowed two rooms to lodge &amp; work in <lb xml:id="l2"/>over the great Press room &amp; over M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Crokers shop.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par3">Collonel Parsons &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Fowler do not work themselves but only imploy <lb xml:id="l3"/>others, &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Rosse desires to succeed M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Harris only in his place of Graver <lb xml:id="l4"/>of Seale to her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> for <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> by <choice><sic>veiwing</sic><corr>viewing</corr></choice> a seal <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> a seal <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> he graved for the <lb xml:id="l5"/>Dutchy of Lancaster we <choice><sic>beleive</sic><corr>believe</corr></choice> him qualified. But M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Le Clerk is a nimble <lb xml:id="l6"/>&amp; skilful Graver for money &amp; medals &amp; fit to be received into <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <del type="strikethrough">third place</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">Mint</add> <lb xml:id="l7"/>if his business abroad <choice><sic>will</sic><corr type="delText">will</corr></choice><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">would</add> allow him to attend the service.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par4">And whereas <del type="strikethrough">accord</del> the coynage of the money requires dispatch &amp; such <lb xml:id="l8"/>Medals as the Government <del type="strikethrough">has occasion for</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">appoints</add> are coyned by the Master &amp; <lb xml:id="l9"/>Worker after the same manner <del type="over">as</del><add place="over" indicator="no">&amp;</add> by the same authority as the money <lb xml:id="l10"/>we are humbly of opinion that the Gravers be obliged by a clause in <lb xml:id="l11"/>their constitution to make such <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Designes, Embosments</add> Puncheons &amp; Dyes as the Master &amp; Worker <lb xml:id="l12"/>shall appoint for dispatching the coynage of both<del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> Medals &amp; Money <lb xml:id="l13"/>according to her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">O</add>rders.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par5">And upon considering that the Gravers for their <del type="strikethrough">private advantage</del> <lb xml:id="l14"/><add place="supralinear lineBeginning" indicator="yes">&amp; encouragement</add> &amp; for restraining the libery of making Medals <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> the Effigies of the <lb xml:id="l15"/>King or Queen, have been hitherto allowed &amp; all other persons prohibited <lb xml:id="l16"/>to make such Medals: we are humbly of opinion that the<del type="cancelled">y</del> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">G</add>raver be <lb xml:id="l17"/>obliged to set his name or the first letters thereof visibly upon his <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">own</add> medals <lb xml:id="l18"/>&amp; that he do not disperse any such Medals before a specimen of them <lb xml:id="l19"/>hath been shewed to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice>. And if it be thought <del type="cancelled">fit</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">requisite</add> he may be <lb xml:id="l20"/>restrained from making <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">any</add> Medals upon state affairs unless <del type="strikethrough">pursuant to her <lb xml:id="l21"/>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi> Orders <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><del type="strikethrough">issued</del></add> to the Master &amp; Worker</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">in coppying after Meddals <lb xml:id="l22"/>made by <add place="inline" indicator="no">t</add>he<del type="cancelled">r</del> Master &amp; Worker according to her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Orders</add> as in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> case of coronation Medals, <lb xml:id="l23"/><del type="strikethrough">in <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> case he</del> or be other otherwise limited as <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> shall think fit.</p>
